In the past year and a half, I have become something of an inadvertent authority on medical cannabis. After stumbling upon a writing job for a start-up cannabis seed company, I wound up developing all their online content, from landing page headers and product descriptions, to educational articles and weekly blogs.
Eventually, I also took over all social media for the company, and today carry the title of Communications Manager. I still blog for the site, write some content – such as scripts for our YouTube video series – and manage multiple junior writers.
My experience with cannabis culture has opened my eyes to a whole new industry, which is currently growing at the speed of light. I also blog for a local dispensary, and would welcome the opportunity to work with other (legal) cannabis businesses.
