The Commoner – Halifax

While completing my journalism degree at the University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I took a course in Newspaper Journalism. Students were requires to write a certain number of interview-based articles for each week’s publication of The Commoner, a local free paper that is distributed around the city during the months that classes are in session.

I wrote five articles for The Commoner, and also spent a few weeks as Photo Editor, where one of my responsibilities was to co-produce a themed center-fold photo compilation.
